Finally a good question! One party represents pay to play government and the other believes in We The People. If you want to be a subject, servant, or slave to a corporate kingdom then vote republican. If you believe in We the People controlling the government and the corporations then vote democrat. Our Founding Fathers warned about foreign influence in our government and considered it treason. The chamber of commerce is pouring foreign donations into republican campaigns. The funds always come with a string attached. Could be your job and or this nations natural resources. The republicans with the drill here drill now nut cases have already signed away most of our US coastline to off shore corporate tax havens.

No you're thinking of 2000 and 2004.

Elections are never won. They're always bought. People are generally too stupid to think for themselves, demand accountability of spending, demand to know who's paying for ads or bother focusing on what a candidate stands for. It's far more entertaining to them to watch the mud sling, be told exactly what you want to her in a campaign promise (just another term for lying), watch the "other side" get vilified for not believing everything you do and getting righteously indignant when your side gets grilled for the same transgression. Screw it all. Neither side is worth a slug's fart and both sides have amply proven this.

Just exactly why is it that the Democrats are suddenly concerned (wrongly) about foreign money? They never complained when foreign money was demonstrably helping their cause. The fact is, the American public -NOT foreign interests - has had enough of the Reid-Pelosi-Obama shenanigans and is prepared to send as many Democrats as we possibly can scampering back home.

It's not just foreign money but HUNDREDS of MILLIONS OF DOLLARS laundered into SECRET POLITICAL SLUSH FUNDS (for US Companies that want to remain anonymous too) by the US Chamber of Commerce and other groups like Karl Rove's that is intended to INCREASE OUTSOURCING -- CRATING UP US JOBS AND SHIPPING THEM OVERSEAS. Or those including the US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE that continue to BLOCK SHAREHOLDER VOTES with frivolous lawsuits on corporate actions like MANAGEMENT COMPENSATION and SECRET POLITICAL SLUSH FUND contributions. The US CHAMBER of COMMERCE with it's frivolous lawsuits seems to be acting as a partner with management to allow them to continue to act in management's and the Chamber's best interests and not in the interests of either the workers and the stockholder (owners).

The voters will decide, but if the elections wind up NOT being bought it won't be for a lack of trying or money in anonymous political SLUSH FUNDS.

Only a Liberal rag like CBS would ask such an obvious stupid question! The elections are being won all anyone has to do is look at the approval ratings of both congress Demo controlled and the President. The fact they they have managed to **** off every one and now every one is donating all they can to trough the Demos out is just icing on the cake!
